Last weekend I was lucky enough to attend The Baby Show at London Excel. I was kindly invited by MAM Baby UK to their breakfast bloggers event.
The show is for parents and expectant mums looking for those essential baby purchases. There were also talks from well known celebrities on a range of topics and I managed to watch Rochelle Humes talk about her new children’s book.
MAM have released a new oral care range and Myles was rocking his Tshirt to match ‘Brushy The Bear’. It is never too early to start a teeth cleaning routine and we are starting with the Massaging Brush. Brushy Bear loves his toothbrush is a storybook, to encourage childcare to brush their teeth and there is also an app you can download ‘MAM brushy time’ which features a fun tooth brushing game with timer.
Myles has used the MAM range since he was born, he would only accept their teats and soothers, therefore we have stuck with what we know works for us. We were gifted a goodie bag with the new oral care range and some new soothers (some safari ones perfect for us!). Thank you to MAM for their wonderful hospitality and making the blogging community a great place to be, to meet other professionals and parent bloggers.
I was also invited to attend the launch of Didofy Lotus, a auto folding 3 in 1 stroller – yes that’s right it folds all by itself! You have to press a button, before you start thinking of a transformer on autopilot. It is suitable from birth and has advanced built in suspension, meaning a smooth ride and easy manoeuvring.
A key feature is that you can charge your phone on the battery, how many times has your phone battery failed you because you’ve been checking your social media channels too often, well now you won’t be caught out.
I bet your thinking about the pram battery life, it has capacity for 32 open/close cycles and charges by USB socket. The pram takes 8 seconds to open and 7 seconds to fold down, pretty impressive hey. How many times have you struggled to pop the pram in the car while the baby screams because your not moving and sending them to sleep. It is available in 5 colours and retails at £950.00 which I think is reasonably priced for the added extras. If you would like to find out more then check out the Didofy Lotus range online.
I had to visit Poddle Pod to introduce Myles, after all he is the one who is modelling the pod and doing all the hard work, posing must be exhausting. I first met them at the Manchester Baby & Toddler Show and they started working with me when I was pregnant. The pod has been an absolute life saver, Myles sleeps in it for hours. The design of the pod is that it gives your baby the feeling of being held but I won’t say too much as I have a separate blog coming on Baby essentials.
Poddle pod kindly gifted me the toddle pod which is the next stage from 6 – 36 months and I chose the dinosaur cover. I have given him a test sleep in it and of course he loves it! Thank you to Poddle Pod for giving parents 5 minutes peace, just joking I mean time to do the long list of jobs awaiting them! If you want to know more, Poddle Pod have the full range of pods and covers on their website.
The baby show is a good opportunity to meet face to face with companies and let them know who you are and what you can offer as a blogger. As I said to my husband it’s like a job interview and my blog is my brand, I have a lot to offer so I want companies to know exactly what I stand for and the ethos behind my ‘Life of A Mumsy Lawyer’.
Next week I am attending the Baby & Toddler Show in Manchester, so keep your eyes peeled for more baby products and some of my favourite brands 😊
*Disclaimer: although items have been gifted to me, all opinions are my own.
