Monster Jam Toys ~ Spinmaster

In a house full of boys what could be more appropriate than big trucks and lots of noise.

After going to watch Monster Jam Live recently, Riley was excited to receive some Monster Jam toys to bring the show to life himself (cue the truck revs and running commentary on which truck would be the winner).

Let’s take a look at the goodies in question:

1:64 Diecast 2 Pack £9.99

There are different trucks to choose from in the packs of two, Riley was super happy he got Megalodon. Each truck has official BKT tyres, stylised chrome rims and an authentically styled chassis with chrome detailing. We found the trucks easy to manoeuvre and true to the real thing. Perfect for a battle, which mummy was invited to take part in!

1:43 Rev and Roar £7.99

Monster jamNow this one does make a lot of noise! You can rev it forwards or backwards to hear it roar. Again it is authentically decorated and has official 4-wheel drive BKT rubber tyres. Riley enjoyed annoying me with the noise but I didn’t mind as he was enjoying battling the trucks against one another.

Grave Digger Remote Control Truck £17.00

Monster truck A realistic 1:24 scale truck that whizzes around pretty fast, Riley was impressed but my feet weren’t. He had loads of fun with his Friends taking it in turns to drive it round the house.

Even with a broken wrist he could still play!

Monster Dirt Deluxe Set £ 14.99

Now this set was our favourite, I say our because we both played together making ramps and racing all the trucks two by two. This set contains one truck MAX-D (exclusive and can’t be found anywhere else!), Riley’s favourite so naturally this was the most played with.

From the makers of Kinetic Sand the set includes synthetic dirt. At first I was a bit dubious but it really is easy to mold and it goes away as quick as it came out. You can make your own course and we created two to race trucks against and we had hours of fun!

The verdict is in: lots of fun even with a broken arm and I feel they are reasonably priced. To check out the full range head over to Spin Master.

  1. My youngest two would be in their element with these! Both of them are car mad, they can never have too many in their eyes.
